The real headaches of running concerts

The Baku concert business has shifted dramatically over the past five years. Audiences no longer queue at the box office — they buy from their phone, see an Instagram ad and pay in two clicks. Yet many organisers still juggle Excel sheets, unreliable couriers and cash changing hands at a folding table. The result is lost tickets, cancelled payments and a chaotic crowd at the door on show night.

You don't know where the money is

Did the customer transfer the money or not? Who is checking the bank statement? On the night, 600 people walk in and you have 540 confirmed payments. Where are the rest?

Door queues and chaos

Stamping a paper ticket takes 15 seconds. For a thousand-person concert, that turns into four hours of pain. The audience is already frustrated before the show begins.

Counterfeit tickets and double entries

The same QR shown by two people. Or "guests" claiming they bought a ticket on Instagram but never actually paid. A stamped paper ticket cannot stop this.

You can't tell which channel sold

800 AZN spent on Facebook ads. Posted on Telegram. Which one filled the room? You don't know. Next time you're guessing all over again.

How Tad1 fits a concert workflow

Every step belongs to one ecosystem. No separate POS, no separate payment terminal, no separate CRM.

01

Create the concert in three minutes

Artist name, venue address, date and start time. Add ticket types: VIP (250 AZN), Standard (80 AZN), Student (40 AZN). Cap each tier as you wish. Upload the cover image and gallery, and use Page Designer to match the page colours to your brand.

02

Share the event page

Each event has its own custom URL — for example, tad1.app/jazz-festival-2026. Add it to your Instagram bio, Telegram channel, Facebook ads. You can also embed the page on your own website with an iframe or JavaScript snippet. The audience taps the button, picks a tier, pays with a card — two screens, done.

03

Payments and QR are sent automatically

Tad1 Pay (CIB Pay) accepts Visa and Mastercard, money lands directly in your AZN account. The buyer receives a QR ticket by email within seconds. Each event can be assigned its own Telegram bot — it sends order confirmations and reminders. The customer can also add the ticket to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.

04

Show night — QR scanner at the door

Your team opens the scanner in a browser — a phone camera is enough. Each scan is recorded in the central database in real time, so a teammate at another door immediately sees the ticket has been used. If re-entry is allowed, the guest can step out and come back. Audio cues: green for valid, red for already used.

05

Post-show analytics

Which tier sold out first, how many people attended, total revenue — all on the dashboard. If you connected GA4 and Facebook Pixel during registration, you also see conversion funnels. Your customer database stays — for the next concert you can notify them directly.

Custom solutions for the Baku concert scene

Early bird and sales schedule

Create a promo code: EARLY-25 — 25% off for the first 200 tickets. The Sales schedule feature lets you set the exact opening and closing time of sales. If the event sells out, fans join the waitlist — one click sends them a notification when seats free up.

Multi-day events and tours

If an artist plays the city for three nights, treat each night as a separate ticket type. Or bundle a "three-night package" with a discount. In the schedule you set start and end times for each day, and guests see all the dates on the page.

Telegram bot per event

In Azerbaijan, Telegram is on virtually every phone. Each event can be assigned its own Telegram bot. The bot reminds the audience the day before, delivers order confirmations, and answers common questions. This channel gives a far better open rate than SMS.

Team members and access levels

Add team members with different roles: owner, admin, manager, staff and a dedicated Scanner role for QR check-in only. The accountant in the central office watching payments, the box-office agent handling sales, two staff at the door scanning QR codes — each has their own account and permission level. The Scanner role only sees the scanner, with no access to customer data or reports.

Refunds and event cancellation

A guest bought a VIP but cannot make it — you refund the order, money returns to the card within 5–14 business days. If the concert is cancelled entirely, the "Cancel event" button sends an automatic notification to every ticket holder. No need to call anyone or answer questions one by one.

The right plan for your concert size

Core features come with every plan: ticket sales, QR entry, customer database, Page Designer and Telegram bot. Plans differ in volume and additional capabilities.

Concert type Recommended plan Price per month
Jazz club, acoustic evening (50–150 people) Free 0 AZN
Restaurant concert, corporate event (150–500 people) Starter 116 AZN
Concert hall, club tour (500–3,000 people) Professional 316 AZN
Stadium, multi-day festival (3,000+ people) Business 796 AZN

Tad1 Pay processing fees on paid plans depend on the standard bank rate. Exact figures are listed on the pricing page and in the contract.

Common questions from concert organisers

Can I create the event before sales open?

Yes. Save the concert as a draft, prepare banners and copy, then have sales open automatically on the day you choose via Sales schedule. Ticket caps and pricing structure can be changed at any time, until sales begin.

Is there a seat map?

At the moment Tad1 works without specific seat selection — instead, it operates on ticket categories (VIP, Standard, etc.). This is enough for most concert venues in Baku: clubs, festival grounds, open-air stages. If your venue requires exact seat numbers, get in touch with us.

Do you store customer card data?

No. All payments go through Tad1 Pay (CIBPay) — a licensed payment gateway in the Azerbaijani market. Tad1 only stores a transaction ID — we never have access to card details.

If a concert is cancelled, can I refund every ticket?

Yes. When the event is cancelled, the system automatically notifies every customer; card refunds take 5–14 business days (bank-dependent). Cash refunds you handle directly with the buyer.

Can I sell directly through my Telegram channel?

Yes. Share the event's personal link — when the customer taps it, the payment page opens inside Telegram's built-in browser. Each event can be assigned its own Telegram bot — it automatically sends order confirmations, reminders and refund notifications when needed.

Can I embed the event page on my own website?

Yes. Each event has an embed code — a simple iframe or JavaScript snippet. Copy and paste it into your site's HTML, and customers buy tickets directly with you instead of being redirected to Tad1.

What languages does support speak?

Azerbaijani, Russian and English. The whole interface works in these three languages. You can reach us by message, email or WhatsApp. On show day a priority support mode is enabled — replies arrive within five minutes.
